No More Cookbooks

No More Cookbooks mod is quite a simple mod that removes the need to scavenge The Lands Between for crafting recipes. You just need to buy Kale’s crafting kit and get crafting!

This is a mod that replaces cookbooks with other items.
For most shops the books were replaced by a couple Rune Arcs, however some merchants now sell weapons that previously were only farmable from enemies, those being:
Noble’s Estoc and Slender Sword, Celebrant’s Sickle and Ribrake, Iron Ball and Iron Mask(no more need to kill Boggart or let him die at the end of his quest), Envoy’s Longhorn as Well as Sellen’s Glintstone Crown and Millicent’s prosthesis(only missable unique items from their questlines).
Cookbooks that were found on corpses or given as rewards from NPC’s are now Golden Rune [3] and 5x Bewitching Branches respectively.

Installation:
This mod was made and requires ModEngine2, to install it simply download ModEngine2 and extract it somewhere easy to access(probably needs to be on the same drive as ER).
Then Just download my mod, extract it wherever you want and drag the Regulation.bin file into YourModEngine2path/mod folder.

Merging:
I also have given the CSV files for merging my mod with other mods/overhauls that use ModEngine2.
For merging you will need DSMapStudio, download and install it, Then create a new project, give it any name and point the project’s directory your main mod’s folder(where its regulation.bin file is) as well as pointing your Game Executable to its location on your PC.
Make sure Import Row Names is enabled and then click create.
Now go over to param editor, there you will need to find the corresponding params and import mine.
This is done by selecting a param category on the left section and then in the top left of the window click Edit>Import CSV>From File…>All
A new Window will appear, this is where you need to find my corresponding mod files and match with the category you are importing from, Example:

ShopLineupParam to ShopLineupParam
ShopLineupParam_Recipe to ShopLineupParam_Recipe
ItemLotParam_map to ItemLotParam_map

After that just press Ctrl+S to Save all Params or go into the File dropdown menu at the top left and click on Save All.
Done!
