Remove chromatic aberration n vignette
It almost removes the awful CA effect.
I got sick of the fkn disgusting chromatic aberration effect… The game forces u to puke ur monitor after ~2hrs gameplay. Couldn’t find any solution online yet. Flawless windscreen is an option but somehow it’s bugged at my system. There’s a dude who made another option with cheat engine… but that’s too risky n u can’t use that online.
Here’s my solution:
With a simple reshade u can finaly turn it off or atleast lower it.
There’s no option for vignette neither so I removed that too. I never liked to play in tube vision.
+ added vibrance for a lil more contrast n colors, +lut to reduce the game’s base blueish effect. It looks like some sepia w/o the washed out colors.
U can turn these off if u don’t like them.
INSTALLION:
DL the original reshade from here: https://reshade.me
Run -> select elden ring -> select dx 10/11/12 -> next -> at the list sweetfx already selected, keep it n select the “color effects by prod80” -> next, next, finish.
DL my file, copy paste it to ur game folder where eldenring.exe is.
Run elden ring, press home, there will be a tutorial, u can skip that, at the top of the reshade window u can select presets, select my file (finalversion.ini) n done.
There r a lot of effect downloaded, u can tweak them if u want to or change my values too.
Simply uncheck something u don’t like.
As I’ve tested it the game doesn’t use vertical distorsion in chromaticaberration therefore I’ve changed the horisontal value only. I’m not sure it completly removes it but the difference is noticeable.
Final version description: Vibrance and HDR is optional for better colors and darker black, but not a blind simulator in caves. If u like better the game’s original colors u can turn these off.
The other effects r required. Minor sharpening is needed for distorsion cuz of CA. Vignette removal is more precise now and tried to reach the best CA removal too. For my eyes it’s better than vanilla game. I hope u enjoy it.
